Petition for the Creation of MacArthur Park Charter School

A formal petition for the creation of MacArthur Place Charter School (MPCS) was submitted to SVUSD on October 31, 2025.

The Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing to consider the level of support for the Initial Charter Petition of MPCS at the SVUSD November 13th regular Board meeting. 

Posted December 16, 2025: STAFF REPORT AND FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING THE PETITION TO ESTABLISH MACARTHUR PARK CHARTER SCHOOL

At the January 8th regular Board meeting, the Board will hold a Public Hearing and take action to either approve or deny the Initial Charter Petition to establish MPCS. 

 

 

Notice of Availability of Developer Fee Report

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sonoma Valley Unified School District (“District”) has completed and is making available for public review its proposed Annual Developer Fee Report and Five-Year Developer Fee Findings for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2025 (“Fee Report”) pursuant to Government Code sections 66001 and 66006. The Fee Report is available for public review at the District Office, Business Department, located at 17850 Railroad Avenue, Sonoma, CA, 95476, during business hours, and also on the District’s website at the following link: SVUSD School Impact / Developer Fees

The Board of Trustees will review the Fee Report at its regularly scheduled public meeting on Thursday, January 08, 2025. The public meeting for this purpose will begin at 4:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, at the Sonoma City Chambers, 177 First Street West, Sonoma, CA 95476.
