About Measure H
Measure H passed with 66.7% yes votes in November 2010.
Measure H installed solar panels in our schools, helping us save an estimated $1 million a year in the first five years, with savings continuing far into the future. These dollars are then free to be used for core classroom instruction.
Measure H also provided funds to update and improve career technical education classrooms and upgrade technology in our schools.
Measure H was structured to extend - but not increase - the current assessment of approximately $50 per $100,000 of assessed value that voters in our District were already paying to support their local schools.
